This stuff about Aurelien Tchouameni comes across as absolute shite imo.

To think that United are unwilling to pay this type of money for a club of that quality, experience, aura, is something that I simply cannot comprehend especially when you look at certain deals we've done in the past and the wages we give to some of the current players.

Don't use that as a reason to justify a fair price and wage for a player like Tchouameni. Overpaying - or in this case, paying EXACTLY WHAT HE'S WORTH - isn't a bad thing. The problem is with who we overspend on.

£80m for Antony? Waste.

£80m for Harry Maguire? Waste.

£72m for Jadon Sancho? Waste.

That is when overspending becomes a problem.
