In the main, it's frustration, anger, disgust, yet not entirely unsurprised given the fact that United have done this type of thing before where they hype up transfer windows only to let it crash and burn.

That sounds very absolute and quite brutal. That stems from the frustration.

The window might not turn out to be as bad as I feel at this point. Whoever we sign could turn out to be superb and I'll be sitting here holding my hands up saying 'I was wrong.'

And you know what? I'd be glad to do that. I want my club to succeed no matter what and if that means saying I was wrong, then that's okay.
