You know what I mean by that?
I feel there's no need to tell you what's coming because you know with the poor record of Wolves and not scoring in millennia, the game against us will not only see them play like prime Barcelona but one where they will score and perhaps win.
We just don't know what we're going to get with this United side so I wouldn't be surprised with any result tbh.
All we ask for is just a performance and a manager who does things we can get behind.
Yet that seems far too much to ask for.
Predicted Lineup

I don't think there'll be too many shocks.
With how everyone is gassing up Shaw and Amorim calling him 'world class', he will keep his spot despite Martinez being back.
De Ligt should come return after missing the West Ham game.
I would like to see Mazraoui keep his place as well because he performed better than most in that draw. He is also at his best as a RCB. With Yoro's form, I doubt the manager will bring him back knowing that there are others available.
The rest of the team will stay the same.
Approach
If I were Wolves, I would just defend and hit on the break. I'm sure they'll look to do that anyway but it is a good plan to deploy against United. We will be stumped.
I'm starting to sound like Amorim in his presser here by saying 'I don't know' when it comes to anything regarding my club.
I don't know whether we will perform. I don't know whether we'll win. I don't know whether the manager will do things we can all agree with. I don't know whether they will show up or not!
I don't know 😔.
However, there was a bit of light at the end of the tunnel in that awful draw on Thursday as there was a period where we played some decent stuff.
I know decent isn't the standard we want but fuck me, is it better than long ball, long throw-in shit. Like I can't stand how we play because not only are we boring and have no identity, what we are doing is just so anti-United and anti-football.
Those last 20 minutes of the first half though was some of the best football I've seen in recent weeks, even when we were winning at Forest and Spurs, we didn't play that well.
It was just simple, pateint, rotation of the ball, work it out wide and put a cross in. That is what we need to do more of because it's actually good football.
I doubt we'll see that on Monday however but it's something to look at.
In the end though, it's all about not cocking up.
Form
It has dipped pretty badly since Amorim won manager of the month for October.
We've gone down to 8th thanks to that draw but due to the inconsistencies of others, United remain just 2 points behind the Champions League spots (at the point of writing this).
If we win and other results go our way, United could go above Chelsea into 4th. However, it seems that whenever there's an opportunity to climb the table, we mess up as well.
The goal difference is shocking at just +1 and we've won just one of our last five which came at Palace, a ground that is one of the hardest to win at.
Typical United. Win the difficult ones, drop points in the easier games 😐.
Away from home, United are sitting in 9th which I don't even know whether that's a good thing or not. Standards are so low, that that position is probably good but tbh, it ain't good IYKWIM.
Victory at Selhurst Park means that we now have two wins on the road with the other coming at Anfield. Remember that game?
Much like the overall GD, on our travels it's actually worse as United have a -3 goal difference, the lowest in the top 10. This is because we concede and score as many as each other. The amount of goals scored this season is 22 which is an average of 1.6 goals per game. When looking at those conceded, it's 1.5, which is not much difference to goals scored.
I still don't understand how we concede so many (and so many stupid goals) despite playing with five defenders 🤔.
When looking at United's record against the top half of the table compared to the bottom, you will see that we perform better against the top teams compared to the shit ones, with all due respect.
Top half:
Won - 5
Drawn - 0
Lost - 3
15/24 points
Average possession - 52%
Bottom half:
Won - 1
Drawn - 4
Lost - 1
7/18 points
Average possession - 56%
I think we all know why this is the case but what it means is that we have become one of those teams that are very dependent on others having lots of the ball and giving us spaces to exploit.
A bottom half of the table team is what we are.
What has happened to us?
Against Wolves, just like West Ham, they did the double over us as they picked up 2-0 win in this fixture last season with a certain Matheus Cunha scoring an olympico!
Beyond the last two meetings though, United had won four in a row including that epic 4-3 triumph when Mainoo delivered this:
How Amorim has massacred our boy 🥺.
That was also our last win at Molineux.
Another thing to note is that that 4-3 game was the only one of the last eight in which both teams scored. This is not a fixture that contains many goals. Lotta 1-0s in there.
Wolves
Arguably one of the worst teams we've ever seen in Premier League history, Wolves are rock bottom and have had more managers (2) than wins (0) this season.
14 games in. How can you have no wins?
But of course, you know that if ever that first W was going to come, it will be against United.
Rob Edwards has changed very little at Molineux as not only has he lost all three games in charge, his side hasn't scored. In fact, they haven't found the back of the net in their last five games. Another record they will most likely break when facing Ruben's Reds.
You just know it, don't you?
In their 14 matches, Wolves have two draws and 12 losses to go with their zero wins. They've scored the fewest (7) and have conceded the most (29) which is no surprise. They are also on a run of seven straight defeats scoring twice and conceding 13.
Home or away, it makes no matter because Wolves are bottom of both tables. At Molineux, they've lost six of their seven games with only Burnley (5) having scored fewer than their 6. However, along with West Ham, Wolves have conceded 17 goals at home which is the most. This means they have the worst GD of -11.
Boy, these guys are shite.
Prediction
Honestly, if Amorim can't get a comfortable win in this one, it really is sackable. We've had a few games like these under him but I feel like this will top the lot.
I don't think that this will be the case though, as I can see us getting a striaghtforward 2-0 win.
These are the type of matches that we need to win should we want to get into those European positions. It's also one of the more winnable games when looking at the upcoming run of fixtures which is why we have to make the most of it.
What do you think will happen when United travel to Molineux?
