Ruben Amorim has his first signing of the new season as after the longest here we go in history, we’ve finally officially heard those famous words from Romano.

He says that Cunha “will sign deal until June 2030 with option until 2031. Wolves to receive £62.5m clause value in installments.

Formal steps/contracts to be checked next week.”

We’ve known this deal was going to happen as like I said, Romano has being saying here we go without actually saying here we go for the best part of a month in regard to this deal. I believe it was ready to go a while back but the club was just waiting for the right timing. After a poor season seems to be the right time for them to inject some positivity.

But 5-6 years of a 25 year old, Premier League proven, no 10 who suits the system, is quality and a bit of a hothead for £62.5m is a damn good deal if you ask me. It’s not everyday that such players go for that price.

United also seem to do this thing where we pay certain amounts every year instead of it all at once. The problem with this is that we’ve done this for so many deals that United owe up to £300m-£400m in installments for transfers over the past two seasons.

Not sure we can carry on like this.

This could be another reason as to why we look to sell certain players, face more sackings and other cost-cutting measures.

Anyway, that is yet another problem the club have put onto itself and need to solve. That’s got nothing to do with the manager or players nor Cunha who might be regretting his decision after witnessing the worst-ever season in United’s PL history 😅.

I think this is a great deal and a great player. Here is more about Cunha as a player and what he can bring to the table but what do you make of the Brazilian joining United? What could it mean for certain other players? Will he be a success?

Not a bad start to the window tbh 🤷‍♂️.

Yeah, I can talk and talk and talk about the things I love, like football and United, as you can see in this post. Once I get on a roll, it's pretty hard to stop me. This is all coming from a guy who doesn't talk that much. How weird.
